Team Members & Roles

As a team owner, you can invite others to collaborate on your catalog. The number of team members you can invite and the roles you can assign depend on your account type and subscription plan.

Team Member Limits

Label Partners Designed for larger teams, Label Partner accounts can invite between 3 and 50 members depending on their specific plan level.

Independent Artists & Standard Accounts

• Free & Pro Plans: 1 Member (Account Owner only)
• VIP Plan: 2 Members (Owner + 1 Invited Member)

User Roles & Permissions

When inviting a team member, you assign them a role that dictates what they can see and do within your account:

• Owner (Full Access): Has full administrative control. Can manage billing, sign contracts, invite members, approve releases, and access everything in the catalog.
• Member (Full Access): Can submit releases, manage audio and image files, and edit metadata across the entire catalog.
• Viewer: Has read-only access to the entire discography, analytics, and dashboard. (Available on higher-tier Label plans).
• Artist (Full Access): Restricted to a specific assigned artist's catalog. They can upload files, edit metadata, and create draft releases. However, when they submit a release, it goes into a "Pending Label Review" state. An Owner or Member must review and approve it before it is officially locked in and processed.
• Artist (Read-Only): Has read-only access strictly limited to a specific assigned artist's catalog.

White-Labeling (Label Partners Only)

For higher-tier Label Partner accounts, invited users will interact with a personalized, white-labeled dashboard. They will see your organization's custom logo and brand colors instead of the standard DopplerTown branding.
