Asset Library: Automatic Cleanup

To keep your library neat and ensure everyone has plenty of space, we use an automated process to clean up unused or forgotten files.

How It Works

This automated cleanup only looks at files that have never been submitted as part of a release. If an audio file or cover art is part of a released track, it is permanently safe and will never be removed!

1. Cleanup Rules

• Standard Accounts (Independent Artists): If you upload a file but don't add it to a release, it will be safely cleared from your library after 30 days.
• Label & VIP Accounts: As long as your subscription is active, your unused files are kept safe forever. If your subscription expires, any unused files will be cleared out 90 days after your expiration date.

2. Friendly Reminders

We will never remove a file without giving you plenty of notice! Before any unused files are cleared, we will send you email reminders:

• 7 Days before cleanup
• 3 Days before cleanup
• 1 Day before cleanup

3. Background Tidying

We also handle behind-the-scenes tidying, like clearing out broken files if your internet connection drops in the middle of an upload. This keeps your library fast, healthy, and clutter-free!
