Track Assembly and Release Formats

When you create a new release, we automatically format it for you. You don't need to worry about manually choosing if it's a Single, EP, or Album!

How Formats Are Chosen

We format your release based simply on the number of audio tracks you include:

  • 1 to 3 Tracks: Single
  • 4 to 6 Tracks: EP
  • 7 or More Tracks: Album

Note: As you add or remove tracks while building your release, the badge showing your release format will automatically update.

Adding Tracks and Details

During the Track Assembly step:

  1. Selecting Audio: You'll pick your audio files straight from your Asset Library.
  2. Entering Details:
    • If you are using a new (unprotected) audio file, you'll fill out its details like the Track Title, ISRC (if you have one), Explicit status, Genres, and Language.
    • If you are reusing a previously released (protected) audio file, all of its details will automatically carry over. These fields will be locked to make sure your catalog stays perfectly consistent across all platforms.
  3. Setting the Order: The order you add your tracks will be the final track number (1, 2, 3...) on your release. You can easily drag and drop them to get the perfect sequence.
