Artist Limits & Add-ons

In DopplerTown, the number of Artists you can manage is determined by your subscription plan or your custom agreement.

Main vs. Featured Artists

• Main (Primary) Artists: The core performers or bands on a release.
  • Note for Free Accounts: If you are on the Free plan, your Main Artist stage name must exactly match your registered account name.
• Featured Artists: Secondary performers who are added to collaborate on specific tracks.

Understanding Your Quota

When you prepare a new release, the system checks how many unique artists you are currently managing across your active catalog (drafts and rejected releases are excluded from this count).

If you add an artist to a new release that puts you over your plan's limit, the submission will be paused, and you will be prompted to either upgrade your plan or purchase an add-on.

Expanding Your Limits

Upgrading Your Plan Upgrading to a higher plan (Pro, VIP, or a Label Partner tier) is the best way to increase both your Main and Featured Artist limits. Label Partner accounts can manage a significantly larger roster, with top-tier plans offering unlimited artist management.

Featured Artist Add-ons If you only need a little more room for collaborations, you don't necessarily have to upgrade your entire plan. All users can bypass their Featured Artist limits by purchasing a lifetime slot for ₹50 per additional featured artist. This permanently increases your limit without changing your monthly or annual subscription.
