Downgrade & Account Adjustments

If your subscription plan changes to a lower tier (for example, if a paid plan expires and automatically drops to the Free plan), your account may exceed the limits of the new plan.

To handle this smoothly, your account will automatically adjust. This process does not delete your data or affect existing releases that have already been submitted or published. Instead, it temporarily restricts access to certain newer features or team members until you upgrade again or manually clean up your account.

How Adjustments Work

  1. Team Members If your new plan allows fewer team members than you currently have, access will be temporarily disabled for the most recently added members. The Account Owner is never disabled. Disabled members won't be able to log in to your dashboard until the active count fits the new limit (either by removing older members or upgrading the plan).

  2. Featured Artists If your account has more Featured Artists than the new plan allows (including any extra slots you've purchased), the most recently added Featured Artists will be temporarily locked from being used on new releases.

Note: Main Artists are generally not affected by downgrades, allowing your core catalog to remain intact.

What Happens to Disabled Team Members and Artists?

  • Team Members: Cannot access the team dashboard.
  • Artists: Cannot be selected for new release submissions. Existing releases featuring them remain entirely unaffected and will stay live in stores.
  • Restoring Access: As soon as you upgrade your plan or purchase the necessary add-ons, disabled members and artists are automatically restored and ready to use again.
