Onboarding & Login Guide ​

Welcome to DopplerTown Distribution! Getting started with your account is quick and easy.

1. User Registration & Sign Up ​

  • Smart Login Detection: Our login form uses secure, built-in technology to automatically detect and offer your saved passkeys without you having to type anything.
  • Email-less Passkey Login: Create your account and sign in seamlessly using passkeys (like Touch ID, Face ID, or Windows Hello) instead of traditional passwords.
  • Initial Plan: Upon signing up, you will automatically be enrolled in our Free Plan. If you are looking to join a Pro, VIP, or Label Partner plan, our support team will help set that up for you after you register.
  • Account Creation: The system will automatically create your personal account workspace and set you as the Owner.

2. Profile & Artist Setup ​

Before you can start distributing music, you'll need to set up your primary artist profile.

  • Stage Name: You must enter your primary Stage Name. This will also become the default name for your organization or label on the platform.
  • Legal Name: Your legal name is required for contracting and royalty payments.
  • Social Profiles (Optional): You can link your existing Spotify, Apple Music, and SoundCloud IDs to ensure your releases map to the correct artist profiles in stores.
  • Note for Label Partners: If you were invited directly by our partnerships team, you may skip this step and go straight to your Dashboard.

3. Dashboard Initialization ​

  • Once your profile is set up, you'll be redirected to your Dashboard.
  • Your Dashboard will display all the features and tools available on your current plan.
  • If you are on a Label Partner plan, your workspace may include custom branding and colors specific to your label.

Account Security & Access ​

  • Passkeys: Secure your account with phishing-resistant passkeys. This provides a faster, more secure sign-in experience than traditional passwords.
  • Secure Sessions: Your login session is kept secure and will automatically refresh in the background.
  • Automatic Logout: For your security, if your session expires or becomes invalid, you will be automatically logged out and asked to sign in again.
  • Multiple Organizations: If you are a member of multiple labels or teams, you can easily switch between different workspaces after logging in. Simply select the organization you want to manage from your account menu.
