Overview

The Delivery Engine is the automated system that packages approved releases and prepares them for delivery to streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon. It works behind the scenes to ensure all audio and text details meet the strict requirements of the stores.

How It Works

1. Approval: During the review process, an Admin reviews a submitted release.
2. Validate & Export: Once the Admin confirms everything looks good, they click the button to approve the release for export.
3. Processing: The Delivery Engine automatically steps in to compile the release files.
4. Delivery Ready: The release is marked as ready to be sent out. The engine provides the Admin with secure links to download the finalized packages to send to the streaming platforms.

What gets exported?

The engine generates standardized files required by automated delivery systems:

• Release Information: A standard document containing all the essential details about the release, including track names, artists, copyrights, and release dates.
• Release Archive: A data archive containing the high-quality audio files (such as WAV or FLAC) and the Cover Art image and all necessary metadata. The engine ensures all files are named correctly so the stores can process them without errors.

Note for Artists and Labels

While this process happens in the background, your release dashboard will simply show your release as "Pending Review" while it is being packaged and sent to the stores. This keeps your dashboard clean and easy to understand while the technical delivery happens automatically.
