Release Status Guide
As you prepare and submit your music, it will move through several different stages. Here is a simple guide to what each status means and what to expect next.
Status Definitions
| Status | What It Means | Next Steps |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | You are still working on the release. Your files are not protected yet, so you can edit them freely. | You: Keep editing or submit when ready! |
| Pending Label Review | (For Artist Members) You've submitted the release, and it is waiting for your Label Manager or Account Owner to approve it. Your files are now protected. | Label Manager: Approve or ask for changes. |
| In Review | Your release is submitted and our team is giving it a quick quality check to make sure it's perfect for platforms. Your files are protected. | Our Team: Approve or ask for changes. |
| Rejected | Your label or our team found something that needs a quick fix. Your files are unprotected so you can make changes. | You: Make the fixes and resubmit! |
| Approved / Pending Release | Great news! Your release is approved and is simply waiting for its scheduled release date. | System: We will automatically release it on your chosen date. |
| Released | Congratulations! Your music is officially live on streaming platforms. | Everyone: Go listen and share! |
| Takedown Requested | You have asked support to remove this release from streaming platforms. | Our Team: We'll handle the removal process. |
| Taken Down | Your release has been permanently removed from stores. | Done |
How Releases Go Live
Once your release hits the Approved / Pending Release stage, you can sit back and relax! Our automated system checks every day at Midnight (IST) and instantly pushes any scheduled releases to the Released status, sending them off to the platforms.
